Two of our incredibly talented, graduated Night Bass Freshmen teamed up to deliver us this next release. Blossom and Shdws unveil the “Mind Games” EP, donning two major collaborations and two solo bangers. The first collab “Lotta Cash” kicks it off with fun sample work and a textured rolling bassline leading right into the looming intro on the collaborative “Mental”, followed by a bass-heavy drop. Blossom makes modulation great again in this next one, “Modulate”, and Shdws finishes off the package with bassline banger “Pull Up”. This EP offers a clear distinction between Shdws’ stripped down yet rhythmically complex approach and Blossom’s ominously flavored, high-energy beats, all culminating into one fire EP.
