DJ Q - Zip Zap EP Remixes (Out Now)
Following the release of DJ Q’s ‘Zip Zap’ Ft. Robbie Rue, we called upon AC Slater, Drinks On Me and K Motionz for a solid collection of remixes. AC Slater puts his own mark on the track by adding in some heavy bass sounds and an animated melody, Drinks On Me’s remix brings some extra zip to that zap and K Motionz takes the track into drum & bass territories.

Hans Glader - Lumen EP (Out Now)
Hans Glader drops his incredible ‘Lumen’ EP, demonstrating his remarkable soundscaping abilities and displaying some refreshing diversity in the Night Bass catalogue. A sense of emotional depth comes through in the deeply-grooved production of ‘Culture’ where instrumental notes and a subdued bassline combine into a breakbeat masterpiece that serenades you into the orchestral swells and layered melodies of title track ‘Lumen’. The collaborative ‘Dimelo’ with AC Slater yields a strong blend of retro vocalizations with computerized harmonies that drop you into the musical journey of ‘Set You Free’ where hypnotic breaks, notes of UKG and subtle nuances of jazz-fusion perfectly round off the EP.
BIJOU - 187 Proof EP (Out Now)
BIJOU makes a killing on Night Bass with his new EP, ‘187 Proof’. A heavy house beat opens things up in “Big Racks” with verses from Elcamino layered over BIJOU’s signature g-house bounce. The stars aligned on this next track “Zodiac”, adorned with vocal samples from J. Sirus that flow over a heavy, rolling bassline. To finish things off we have “Liquid Swords”, featuring vintage sample work and an ominous buildup that descends into a sharpened bass drop.
NuBass - Countdown EP (Out Now)
NuBass’ expansion continues apace with his third EP on Night Bass. Packed with two solo heaters and two huge collaborations, his ‘Countdown’ EP delivers nothing short of excellence. The title track is a modern visitation to club bangers’ past with a bouncing 4/4 bassline that’ll keep your head knocking into the next track, a collab with Nostalgix titled ‘Chat’ donning Nostalgix’s attitude-edged verses. NuBass teams up with Drinks On Me for ‘No Slackin’ - an expertly programmed, pile-driving heater. To top it all off we have the musically dynamic ‘After Me’.
Event Horizon - Swindler EP (Out Now)
We are very excited to drop Event Horizon’s impressive ‘Swindler’ EP. The four-tracker hits hard with title track ‘Swindler' setting dark and moody tones for the release via mischievous padlines and driving basslines. Dismal notes in ‘Crutch’ perpetuate the release's darker vibe, ushering in a stabbing UKG bassline. Next up is ‘Area Code’ featuring high-energy verses from PVC over a bouncy bass drop. The release is strongly rounded off by the smooth grooves and oscillating drum patterns of ‘Intentions’.
Jay Faded - Savage EP (Out Now)
Jay Faded hits new heights on Night Bass with his massive 6-track ‘Savage’ EP. An ominous buildup kicks off the release on title track ‘Savage’ where a fierce bassline moves alongside emotive vocals from DeBe. A strong juxtaposition comes through in between the pleasant buildup of ‘Don’t Worry’ and the filthy bassline drop that follows. Up next is the totally sweet ‘IDGAF’ whose gentle garage riffs serenade you into the darker territories of the bass-heavy ‘Welli Road’, followed by the unique programming of ‘Everything’, a structurally complex, heavy-hitting arrangement. Lastly, Jay Faded offers a ‘Savage’ dub to round off the release.

Rising star MPH hits Night Bass at full speed with his stellar 5-track ‘Nova’ EP. Effervescent padlines kick things off in ‘Famous’ with an impeccable flow from Purple Velvet Curtains over a wicked low-end bassline, fortified by breakbeat arrangements that build anticipation into the next track ‘Useless’ where simple chord progressions melt harmoniously into notes of funk and soul. MPH’s trademark of blending a nice groove with bass heavy sounds comes through in ‘Deja Vu’ with the groovy soundscape following suit in ridiculously smooth title track ‘Nova’, a deeply satisfying garage number whose blissful resonance serenades you into the final track ‘Bus’, a classic cut of UK bass and grime to round off this incredible package.
SQWAD - Hot Pursuit EP (Out Now)
SQWAD comes in HOT with their first EP release on Night Bass, their 'Hot Pursuit' EP. The title track is straight fire with an unstoppable energy followed by equally powerful collaboration with Badjokes, ‘VIP’, featuring UK reggae champion Sweetie Irie whose outstanding vocal work carries the heavyweight beat right into the bass-forward ‘Dancin Dancin’ where a bouncy, rolling bassline strongly rounds off the EP.

219 Boys - Certified EP (Out Now)
The 219 Boys bless Night Bass with their new ‘Certified’ EP. The title track is indeed a certified banger, featuring Love Rossylo’s verses over an ethereal melody and a textured bass drop. The sweet melodies continue in ‘Senses’, where a shuffling bassline is ushered in by fantasy-provoking synths and sample work, paving the way for ‘Interchange’ - an elegant interplay between beautiful harmonies and dissonant bass drops. To round things off, the boys called upon Lowdown for a ‘Certified’ remix, taking the track into bounce town with his own driving bassline, sealing the EP off on a high note.

PLAYLIST TAKEOVER ALERT! We asked Plastician to take over our Essential Influences Spotify playlist and share some of his influences. As a UKG DJ from Croydon, Plastician started playing pirate radio stations in the late 90’s and quickly became one of the pioneering artists of both dubstep and grime. In 2002 he started his own label Terrorhythm Recordings which continues to release innovative music today. Enjoy a glimpse into early 2000s London vibes and more with Plastician’s takeover of Night Bass Essential Influences.

JAXX DA FISHWORKS is back at it again on Night Bass with his new single, ‘100 Percent'. He kicks it off with a fidgety bass number loaded with twisted synths and then on the b-side we have the deep and heavy sounds of ‘In My House’ where a one two punch and catchy vocal samples lead you into a driving, attitude-edged bassline, strongly rounding off the release.
Qlank - Weird Times EP (Out Now)
The unstoppable Qlank lands back on Night Bass with the biggest release he's had with us yet, his ‘Weird Times’ EP. The pensive melodies in ‘Lit’ featuring JC Stormz set a dark resonance for the release with the ominous tones following suit in ‘Dip’ where a menacing beat is joined by enough 808 to leave you shaking into the next track, ‘Naughty’, with Purple Velvet Curtains on the vocals over frantic swells of UKG bass. Next up we got ‘Drunk’, a belligerent bass number with a hefty breakdown that cascades into the alarm-sounding buildup of breakbeat driven ‘The One’ with help from Dread MC on the vocals.
