I wrote, produced and rapped on the song ‘Act Out’ and I worked with a few of my favourite artists/friends on the rest of the EP. I worked with AC Slater, Way and Makla to really bring my vision of ’Act Out’ to life.

Night Bass Freshmen Vol 4 (Out Now)
It's time for our Night Bass Freshmen Vol 4 and we’re proud to present a brand-new class of uniquely talented individuals. UKG/Bassline virtuoso MPH joins the Night Bass fam with 'Come Back', kicking things off with a massive dose of bassline and breaks. You may recognize this next name from his smashing set on our Livestream Vol 5, please welcome back Event Horizon as he continues to smash with track 'Reset’. We first saw Papps on AC’s Demo Mix Session Vol 12 and now he graces us with ‘Sauce’, a high-energy number with a bassline that rolls you right into the pitch-shifted drift of ‘Kickstart’ from Bristol-based newcomer Dark Moon. Another Demo Mix Session (Vol 13) find, Ranger Trucco, shines through with ‘Ear Ringing’ - a complex layering of synths alongside crafty vocal samples. Hailing from Ireland, Vibe Factory hits us with ‘Let The Games Begin’ where influences of funk and nostalgic sounds seal off the compilation.

Drinks On Me - Delusion EP (Out Now)
Drinks On Me lands back on Night Bass with his first solo release with us, the ‘Delusion’ EP. A one-two garage step punch starts things off in title track ‘Delusion’, where pitch-shifted vocal samples flow seamlessly over melody-boosted rhythms. The sinister imprint of the 808-foward ‘The Basskeeper’ delivers a club-ready weapon, fully equipped with gassed up vocal samples and a massive syncopated bassline. Up next is a juicy UKG collab with Papps, ‘FTB’, adorned with funky melodies that melt harmoniously into a bubbly, shuffle-worthy tempo. The lovely soundscaping in ‘Walk Away’ collab with Why So Low makes for an addictively groovy roller, strongly rounding off the EP.

Long-established Bassline champion DJ Q has always pushed musical boundaries into his own originality and continues to cement his excellence in bass with his first solo release on Night Bass, his 'Zip Zap' EP. Garnering powerful energy from Robbie Rue on the vocals, 'Zip Zap' trail-blazes the EP with driving alliterations and a UKG-tinged, Bass House bounce, followed by the complex arrangement of 'Concentration', an incredibly powerful, four-to-the-floor bassline banger. Last up from DJ Q is the uncompromised beauty and musically talented programming on ‘Show Me Love', sealing off the EP with a refreshingly pleasant garage gem.

The dark motif is sweetened up by the melodic grooves in ‘Dance Killa’, adding a sweet energy to balance out this incredible collaborative release.

Hotfire is back on Night Bass with his hefty 5-track release, ‘The Moment’ EP. The title track delivers a UK influenced bassline to a 4/4 dance beat that drops you into the low-swinging bassline of the dark & moody ‘Crooks’. The mesmerizing vocal samples set the scene for ‘All Day’, before rolling into crunchy, shape-shifting breakdowns. With a foundation set in heavy, textured bass sounds, ‘Backstage’ gives way to ominous breakbeats coupled with a massive garage-influenced bass drop. Hotfire strongly rounds off the release with club-ready, head knockin’ sounds of ‘Tell It’.

Recorded in Los Angeles in February 2020, hosted by AC Slater & Sinden.
Lowdown - Ghetto Poetry (Out Now)
Hailing from Australia, Lowdown returns to Night Bass after his smashing debut on This Is Night Bass Vol 9. ‘Ghetto Poetry’ is his first EP release on Night Bass and it’s a hefty blend of savage basslines, low-end frequencies and underground House sounds. Lowdown hits full throttle with ‘Eastside’, giving way to unique snare placements and heavy swells of midtempo bass, driving straight into the quirky groove of ‘Pro Wrestler’, an impressive collaboration with SLATIN. ‘Ghetto Poetry’ comes in hot with a low-end pressure 4/4 beat followed by aggressive, UK-infused bassline madness. To round off the EP, Lowdown calls upon Qlank for ‘Go’, a bass-heavy production with twisted programming decorated with commanding vocals and peculiar intricacies.
