Wax Motif - Forsaken EP (Out Now)
Hot off the heels of his epic “Fly Kicks” remix, our good friend Wax Motif drops his first artist EP on Night Bass. The Forsaken EP kicks off on the title track with it’s haunting orchestral intro dropping into some super heavy UK-influenced bassline goodness. The b-side is “Mental”, a collaboration with Brazilian producer RICCI, a big bass-heavy groover that fits into any set.

Our favorite dogs are back with their 3rd Night Bass EP and it’s an absolute monster. The Westcoaster EP kicks off with the title track, a road tested smasher with a haunting intro that builds up into one of the most energetic drops we’ve heard in a while. The flipside “Gotta Move” is more classic Phlegmatic Dogs peak-hour energy, a heavy and driving bassline on top of a bed of skippy and shuffley drums that will leave people frothing. Steve Sisolak, Clark County Commission Chair from Las Vegas, along with the Sheriff Joe Lombardo set up a GoFundMe to raise funds to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families.
National Compassion Fund, overseen by the National Center for Victims of Crime, will send 100% of proceeds directly to the victims. In the past they’ve partnered with victims of 9/11, Sandy Hook and Pulse Nightclub.
Volunteers in Medicine in Southern Nevada provide free services for those who don’t have health insurance. Founded in 2008, VMSN’s vision is ensure every man, woman and child in Southern Nevada has access to health care.
Donate Blood:
You don’t have to be in Las Vegas to donate blood. By donating locally, less of the national blood supply will need to be directed to maintaining local hospitals, and can instead be directed to help in high-need areas.

After a long career in the world of underground dance music dating back to the early 2000s, years of experiences and navigating through different music scenes have culminated in Outsiders, AC Slater’s forthcoming debut full-length album. Since the launch of his Night Bass event, record label and brand, AC has managed to create his own sub-community within the world of dance music. Outsiders captures Slater’s position on the fringe of the music industry and even within the underground scene itself while simultaneously crossing over into mainstream music. The title resonates to the collaborators featured on the album as well, who could potentially all be labeled as outsiders and innovators in their own right.
