Our unstoppable Welsh brother Jay Robinson drops his 4th EP (yes 4th) on Night Bass with the techy and grimy “Year Three Oh” EP. The grinding bass of “Hussle” kicks off the release with help from producer JM. “Heiss” takes the EP in a more bass infused tech house direction while the high-energy “SWYMGY”, a collaboration with fellow Night Bass artist Dillon Nathaniel, rounds out the EP.
We’ve been dying to get another EP from Phlegmatic Dogs since Weegle and the boys have delivered big time. The Keepmastik EP picks up right where the last one left off, with its own twisted brand of technically programmed basslines, banging drums, intense drops and catchy samples. San Francisco’s 219 Boys have been featured on “This is Night Bass” and now they’ve landed their first EP on Night Bass. “Unmade” is a collection of various influences artfully melded into their own unique sound. The EP kicks off with “FYOF” a dark G-House bouncer with a cheeky sample. “Unmake” takes it further into heavier and darker territory while “Risk” leans into a more tech house sound. There is definitely something here for everyone from the 219 Boys.
The up and coming Russian duo Volac returns to Night Bass! Their 2nd EP for the label takes the energy up a notch, leaning towards a more bubbly housey feel. “Do Ya Thing” kicks off the EP with a groovy but banging vibe sure to get things moving. “Open Your Mind” heads a more techy direction while still maintaining their signature groove and energy. The boys merge multiple influences into the high energy “Listen” featuring vocals from Abrax Phaeton.
One of our favorites, London’s bass house power-duo Jack Beats, returns to Night Bass to drop part 1 of their Body Work series of EPs. “Body Work” kicks off the release in full power Jack Beats fashion with a strong bassline and hyped up vocals over a driving minimal bed of drums and percussion. Intense chords introduce the 2nd track “Mercury” which builds into a groovy bass-driven shuffler guaranteed to get the dance floor moving. This is Jack Beats at the top of their game.
We couldn’t be more excited than to have a release from bass music legend Herve. This EP radiates energy from the glory days of “fidget house” but with totally modern production. The title track “Real” features fist pumping vocals from Contessa Stuto, sliding from a crazy hoover breakdown into the most rolling bass line. “That’s the Way I Feel” brings a twisted but happy vibe, jackin' groove and bouncy bass line.

Night Bass resident toker Petey Clicks drops off “Home”, his fourth EP for the label. The title track is a unstoppable, head-banging rapid-fire shuffler built for peak time. “Here 2 Kill” switches gears, evoking the sounds of yesterday over a smooth and bubbly garage groove.
As half of the label Food Music, Kry Wolf (along with Shadow Child) have ushered in some of the most forward thinking house music and more in recent years. We’ve finally managed to get an EP from the boys, and it fully delivers. The Temper EP kicks off with it’s title track, a step into heavier territory for Kry Wolf, littered with big crisp breaks and haunting bass. “Flashlight” is straight up high-energy house vibes with a thick rolling bassline. Rounding out the EP is the ethereal, breakbeat driven “Wavvves”.
In June 2015 we launched the Night Bass label, and that was the last time bass house pioneer Chris Lorenzo graced our catalog with his untouchable production. The badman from Birmingham finally returns to Night Bass with two relentless, high-energy heaters. “Foot & Mouth” conjures uncontrollable desires to reload with it’s neck snapping bass, and shells continue to fly with the bass-face inducing “Nightmares”.
